December 2023 Greeting from MASFMA President
Happy December,
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Holiday! As we celebrate the holiday season, I wanted to touch upon a few important upcoming events:
The MTC Conference is coming up next week on Tuesday December 12th at Turf Valley Resort. It would be great if our membership could make it - I hope to see you there! MASFMA will have a table set up so come by and say hello during the trade show.
Later this month there will be a couple of opportunities to vote for Board of Director positions, one for our local chapter and one for the national SFMA. Please make sure you cast your vote; we need strong leadership to help our organization grow.
Speaking of SFMA, if any of our membership is headed to Daytona, please sign up to attend our Social with the Virginia Chapter on Monday, January 22nd from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The location is to be determined.
Our annual MASFMA Spring Education Event is scheduled for February 28th and this year, we will be back at Camden Yards. We will be awarding the MASFMA DMV MVP Award along with our Scholarship at this event, so lots to celebrate as we earn our continuing education credits.
