JANUARY 2024 GREETING FROM MASFMA PRESIDENT

Happy 2024 Mid-Atlantic SFMA!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! Welcome 2024! With most new years comes some change and the Mid-Atlantic SFMA is no different. 

As of January 1st, I would like to introduce all the Mid-Atlantic SFMA members to our NEW Executive Director, Kim Pietsch. Kim has extensive experience as an Executive Director and has hit the ground running. I see nothing but great things for our organization moving forward. You can continue to use [email protected] to reach Kim.

In additional board news, a big congratulations to Allen Bohrer of Newsom Seed for winning our Commercial seat, and Charles Lakey with The Catholic University of America will continue to fill the College & University seat. Thank you both for dedicating your time to our organization. 

All members who are going to the National SFMA Conference, please register for the Mid-Atlantic/Virginia SFMA social. It will be at Riverside Johnny's on Monday January 22nd from 5-7pm!

Also, please register for our Spring Education Event at Camden Yards on February 28th!  We already have approved CEU'S for Maryland pesticides and fertilizer as well as Virginia pesticides and fertilizer. Approval from DC and Delaware is pending but we anticipate that to come through any day.
