JUNE 2024 GREETING FROM MASFMA PRESIDENT

Greetings Mid-Atlantic SFMA,

June is here and the start of summer! I would like to thank you for a successful field day last week. I
would like to thank Dr. Fereshteh Shahoveisi and Geoff Rinehart for all their hard work getting this to take place at
the University of Maryland! We had great speakers and good traffic through the vendors. I had
a new vendor tell me how awesome it was, and they plan on being there again next year! That

Once the cooler weather hits us this fall we will have a member + sponsor outing at an Orioles baseball game. Keep
an eye out for a sign-up email.

With summer coming, please remember to stay hydrated with some dihydrogen monoxide (H20)!
Use sun block. Now that I am older, seeing the importance of skin protection, can’t tell
everyone enough of the importance of your physical and mental health - take care of
yourselves! All of you are important to all of us and YOU make the Mid-Atlantic SFMA what it is
today! Thank you for participating in everything we do and let’s keep getting stronger!
