Chapter Members Please Post Internships

TO: Members of STMA Affiliated Chapters

As we move into mid-spring and beyond, we are finding that many of our student members have had their internships cancelled. Of course, this is very concerning not only to our association, but for the entire future of the industry. Our biggest fear is that if students do not get the excellent experience of learning and working in their chosen profession, they may adjust their educational goals and leave sports field management.

We are asking for your help. Please consider posting any internships your organization has available on our Job Board. If you are not a member of STMA, just register as a New Visitor (link is at STMA.org) and then you can post that opening at no charge. The Job Board is also accessible from STMA.org -- there is a tab at the top of the page.

If you know of any others who are not members of your chapter, please share with them the opportunity to post their internships on the STMA Job Board. Help us ensure the sustainability of the profession that we each were drawn to and enjoy so much.
