Maryland House Bill 472 Killed In Committee (Glyphosate Ban)

House Bill 472 was killed in the Environmental and Transportation Committee on February 9. This was the bill that would prohibit the use of glyphosate in the State of Maryland. Fortunately, we will not have to deal with prohibition this year, but it is sure to come up next year. We can't campaign against a bill that hasn't been presented, but if we are able to engage our lawmakers this year before a bill is introduced we may have a better chance of continuing to defeat unfavorable legislation.  Click here to find the contact info for the members that represent your district.
