MASTMA DMV MVP 2021 Winner!

It was a close call, too close (in a good way!)…
MASTMA is pleased to announce the winner of the DMV MVP Award for 2021.

The winning field and team is…

Wheaton Regional Park, which is a community softball field in Montgomery County, MD managed by Barry Gonchar with a team consisting of Cherfrin Pozo, George Johnson, and Raynard Bell.

The Team will be presented with a field banner at the MASTMA Annual Spring Education Event in March along with a lunch for their crew when they choose.

The runner up field and team is…

Saint Mark’s High School, which is a soccer/multiuse field in Wilmington, DE managed by Jeremy Driscoll, CA with a team consisting of Chris Arnold and Chris (Carl) Megonigal.

It’s not too early to start thinking about applying for this year.
The entry deadline is December 1, 2022 and the facility must be a MASTMA member in good standing. Entries can be submitted online on the MASTMA homepage.
